I had a question about criminal records…? (IN CALIFORNIA)?

I am under 18, about 17 and a half to be exact. And i recently applied for jobs and they asked me to fill out my pesonal information which allows them to do a background check. And I was wonderng if I was arrested for a MISDEMANOR (such as a little fight), will they see it? Because my friend told me that they can't find anything on me if I am under age because you can awlays get it seal. And once I am 18, when I seal it, will it totally be gone? And no one (for example, job places) view my past history? Please help…..?

no they can not look at your record cause of ur age ,if ur older then 18 then u got a problem

One thing about criminal records in Cali is there is a LOT of them!

That is humor.

Convictions on felonies are what they look for, not arrests.

Do you need a Presidential Pardon to expunge a California Federal criminal record?

I have a 20 year old federal felony for growing a very small amount of pot. How do I go about having a federal record expunged or sealed?

get yourself real legal advice find a lawyer and ask them if it can be done i would think it can not be done just cause you would want it sealed but I am not a lawyer best to get advice from one of those

Sealing Juvenile Criminal Records in California (CA)?

Hello, It has come to my understanding that juveniles in CA are able to seal their juvenile criminal records in CA when they turn age 18 OR if 5 years have past since the conviction. I know that we cannot seal our records if we committed an offense in WIC 707 (b), however, i ask this. Can juveniles still seal their records IF they got convicted with a FELONY rather than misdemeanor? Please help me, thank you for your time.

Yes, felony records not subject to 707(b) can be sealed.

Does a California Criminal Record Expungement Erase the Probation Violation Connected to the Case?

Under California Penal Code Section 1203.4 a person is able to expunge a criminal conviction. Thereby reducing a felony to a misdomeanor(sp) and withdrawing the guily plea and having court records reflect the conviction never happened and the case has been dismissed. BUT……..if there a person served time for a probation violation which was connected to the case does the probation violation get expunged too????
Note: time for original crime served, probation completed after serving time for the violation, expungement granted by court 1 year after probation was completed. Minute order lists probation violation case info under same case number as original charge.

wow.. i didant know but if someone will be in that stage to be violetade (i hope not), dont vogot to screem faier not help.
